Y’all, I have to tell you about one of the most adorable western-themed baby announcements Iâ€™ve had the pleasure of photographing. Picture this: cowboy hats, boots, denim, and one very distinguished French bulldog named Crouton, who may or may not have stolen the whole show.

Saddle Up for a Surprise!

When Brooke reached out to me about capturing their baby announcement, they had one thing in mind—classic western vibes with a fun, lighthearted twist. We found the perfect rustic location, complete with wooden fences, open fields, and that golden, sun-soaked glow that makes everything look like it’s straight out of a country song.

The Shoot: Boots, Bumps, and a Whole Lot of Crouton

We started with some classic western shots of Mom and Dad to be, and Crouton walking like the goodest boy right between them. The best part? We had a custom wooden sign, their ultrasound, a adorable blanket and some horseshoes!

Crouton, of course, took his sheriff duties very seriously. Every time we tried to get a sentimental shot of just Mom and Dad, he’d waddle right into the frame, staring directly at the camera as if to say, â€œYou do realize this is my announcement too, right?!

The Grand Finale

To wrap things up, we got one last shot of mom and dad to be hugging and loving on each other. It was the ultimate western baby announcement, filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of canine mischief.
